Switching to Environmentally
We damaged our environment badly enough already. It’s time to make a stand and to start to change our way of living and thinking. We begin to do so in our closest environment, our homes.
The environmentally safe cleaning is a way to go if you want to protect your health and the health of your children.
Do you really want to breath in the vapour of the chemical cleaners? Have you consider what harm they would do to your skin when they come in contact with it?
Stop using ammonia for cleaning glass in your household. It is slowly killing you. Vinegar on the other hand is not only great for your salad dressing; it’s great for your windows as well.
Keeping simple is always the best way to approach anything, also cleaning. Therefore environmentally safe soap and just water will clean most of household surfaces.
Are you using the regular brush or sponge to scrub those especially dirty surfaces? I hope your answer is positive. Otherwise, you, and anybody else is in big trouble. Recently companies producing liquid soaps started to ad little bits of plastic to the cleaners. They do it to perfect the scrubbing of the worked on surface. You may think nothing of that. But have you consider, those plastic bits go to your water supply, which you drink? They also go to the seas and oceans and are swallowed by marine life. If you fish lover, you will be the end consumer.
When listening to or watching chemical advertisements, you must learn to relax. Don’t fall into the advertisers scare tactics. They just want to convince you to buy their product. If you think of surrounding you germs, think of them as your natural neighbours. They will be always there and your body’s immune system will deal with germs. If you know that you must disinfect your house for some good reason, grab an environmentally safe disinfectant and you, your family and your pets will stay unharmed.
Finding an appropriate environmentally safe cleaning product for your home use shouldn’t be difficult these days as more companies realize the value of non toxic products and start manufactures them. The quality of those products is just the same as those traditional chemicals. Your responsibility is now to find which one is best for you and your family and begin to use it. If we start early, we still have a chance to safe our Earth from the ecological devastation.
