Golf Carts For Sale and The Safety of the Riders
When you have researched a few golf carts for sale ads then one of the first things you must bare in mind is that there are safety features and rules apply to golf carts as well. It does not matter if you are looking at electric golf carts or gas golf carts they both come under the same safety precautions. When you do finally decide on a used golf cart to purchase see if the owner manual is still available. If not you may be able to contact the manufacturer of the make and provide them with a model number. They are sure to try to be of assistance in supplying you with a manual unless of course it is an older model.
There are some common sense rules when operating a golf cart. Be sure to keep your hands and arms within the vehicle. It is true they do not travel all that fast but an injury could occur should the driver come near some brush or a tree. Make it a rule that neither you nor your passenger consume any alcohol when operating the cart. Although a small unit, it is still a motorized vehicle nonetheless. Never overload the cart. It is nerve-wracking to see five and six people hanging off a four-seat golf cart. If there are two bench seats then they are for four people if there is just one seat then it is meant for two. Be sure to learn and follow the safety rules.
